Project Overview
Works commenced in September on this highly bespoke South Coast project, centred around a private aerodrome featuring two aircraft hangars and associated residential spaces. Due to the scale and character of the property, the installation has required careful planning, system coordination, and a robust infrastructure-first approach.
Scope of Work
Lutron Lighting Control
A fully integrated Lutron lighting control system, incorporating scene control and distributed load management.
Automation
Automated electric blinds and curtains, interfaced for centralised and scene-based operation.
Audio System (Multi-zone)
A premium multi-zone audio system, providing consistent coverage throughout the property.
Project Progress
This project is progressing to plan. First-fix installation on the top floor is now complete, with detailed QA inspections currently underway. All containment, cabling routes, and terminations are being checked and tested to ensure compliance with design specifications prior to wall closures.
Installation works are continuing on the ground floor, where first-fix is well advanced. This phase includes power, data, control, and speaker cabling, coordinated closely with other trades to maintain clear segregation, accessibility, and future serviceability.
The project remains on schedule, with a strong focus on build quality, documentation, and verification at each stage to ensure a smooth transition into second-fix and commissioning phases.
